Chewy started her dance journey at SP dance club, Strictly Dance Zone (SDZ) at the age of 17, focusing mainly on Hip-Hop, Street Jazz and K-Pop. After graduating, she continued to partake in SIM dance club, Dreamwerkz (DWZ). Throughout these years, she has joined numerous performances and competitions inside and outside of school, and she has taken up quite a number of dance projects. For example, she choreographed twice for the SIM annual dance production, coaching enrichment programs, helping out in various companies’ dinner and dance, etc.
Since young, she aspires to be an educator as she believes that inheritance of skill and knowledge are essential to develop dreams. It also gives her a sense of satisfaction to see her student’s accomplishments, achievements and positive progression along the way. Being able to nature the students and keeping her passion on the run always makes her excited and she looks forward to every class she conducts.
